How do you scaffold an entire building that does not have one straight elevation both vertically or horizontally and then encase it in a wrap and then add a full temporary roof? With great difficulty!
A project MSS was honoured to be a part of in 2021, this was one of the most complex jobs we have ever undertaken. The curves in the building meant we erected over 65 separate scaffold towers to the perimeter and then moving on to erect one of the largest temporary roofs in the country at 266m long to fully cover the building. The scaffold was then totally covered in the UKs largest ever scaffold wrap.
A successful project completed safely and ahead of program.
NASC Project of the Year 2021 – awarded highly commended.
